Effective Date: September 15, 2026 Last Updated: September 15, 2026

Welcome to Mission Control Therapy & Coaching. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of missioncontroltherapyandcoaching.com (the “Website”).

By accessing or using the Website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a consultation, subscribing to communications, booking an appointment or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

01About Mission Control

Mission Control Therapy & Coaching (“Mission Control,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides:

  • Psychotherapy services to eligible clients located in Ontario, Canada;
  • Coaching services to eligible clients across North America;
  • Structured programs addressing concerns such as anger management, anxiety, stress, relationships, communication, sleep, discipline, habits and performance;
  • Court-related and professionally referred programs where appropriate; and
  • Educational information through the Website, newsletters, articles and other resources.

Psychotherapy is provided by a Registered Psychotherapist and is subject to applicable Ontario legislation and the professional standards of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (“CRPO”).

02Website Information Is Not Therapy

The information provided through this Website, including articles, blog posts, FAQs, downloads, social media content and general communications, is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Website content:

  • Is not psychotherapy, counselling, medical care, legal advice or crisis intervention;
  • Is not intended to diagnose or treat any mental or physical health condition;
  • Is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare or legal professional; and
  • Should not be relied upon when making urgent medical, psychological or legal decisions.

Using the Website, submitting a form or receiving a response to a general inquiry does not establish a therapist–client, coach–client or other professional relationship.

A professional relationship begins only after eligibility and suitability have been assessed, informed consent has been completed, applicable service documents have been accepted, and Mission Control has expressly agreed to provide services.

03Not an Emergency or Crisis Service

Mission Control is not an emergency, crisis-response or 24-hour monitoring service.

Do not use the Website, email, social media, voicemail or contact forms to request emergency assistance. These communication channels may not be reviewed immediately.

If you believe that you or another person may be in immediate danger, are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, or require urgent assistance, call 911, contact your local emergency services, or attend the nearest emergency department.

04Eligibility and Geographic Availability

Psychotherapy services are available only when the client is physically located in Ontario at the time services are provided, subject to applicable professional, legal, clinical and insurance requirements.

Coaching may be offered to eligible clients located elsewhere in Canada or the United States where legally and professionally appropriate.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information about your identity, age and physical location.

Mission Control may decline, pause or discontinue services when providing them would violate applicable laws, professional standards, licensing requirements, insurance requirements or appropriate standards of care.

Services for minors or individuals requiring a substitute decision-maker will be considered individually and will require appropriate consent arrangements.

05Psychotherapy and Coaching Are Different Services

Psychotherapy is a regulated health service intended to address mental health, emotional, behavioural and relationship concerns. Psychotherapy may involve assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation and the creation of a personal health record.

Coaching is a non-clinical service focused on areas such as habits, discipline, performance, leadership, personal development, accountability and goal achievement.

Coaching is not psychotherapy and is not intended to diagnose or treat a mental health condition.

If concerns arise during coaching that require psychotherapy, medical care or another specialized service, Mission Control may recommend changing the service or obtaining support from another qualified professional.

06Consultations and Booking Requests

A consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns, goals and available services and to determine whether Mission Control may be an appropriate fit.

A consultation does not guarantee:

  • Acceptance as a client;
  • Availability of a particular program;
  • A particular appointment time;
  • Eligibility for psychotherapy or coaching;
  • Insurance reimbursement; or
  • A specific outcome.

Booking requests are not confirmed until you receive confirmation from Mission Control.

You agree to provide complete, current and accurate information when submitting an inquiry, requesting a consultation or booking a service.

08Fees and Payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on the Website are in Canadian dollars.

Current fees will be confirmed before services are purchased or provided. Mission Control may update its fees, program structures and service offerings from time to time.

A fee change will not retroactively change the price of services already purchased unless the client and Mission Control agree otherwise in writing.

Payment may be required when booking, before a session, after a session or according to a payment schedule stated in the applicable service agreement.

You are responsible for applicable charges, taxes and payment-processing obligations connected with your purchase.

09Insurance Coverage

Psychotherapy receipts may be eligible for reimbursement under certain extended health insurance plans. Coverage varies between insurers and individual plans.

You are responsible for confirming:

  • Whether services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist are covered;
  • Whether a referral is required;
  • The amount of coverage available;
  • Any annual or per-session limits;
  • Documentation requirements; and
  • Whether a particular program or service qualifies.

Mission Control does not guarantee that an insurer will reimburse any fee.

Coaching services are generally private-pay services and may not qualify for health insurance reimbursement.

10Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Cancellation, rescheduling, missed-appointment and late-arrival terms will be explained before services begin or when an appointment is confirmed.

Appointments cancelled after the applicable cancellation deadline and missed appointments may be charged in full, except where prohibited by law or where Mission Control determines that exceptional circumstances apply.

If you arrive late, the session may still end at the originally scheduled time. The full session fee may remain payable.

Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in services being paused or discontinued after appropriate notice and consideration of professional obligations.

11Multi-Session Programs and Refunds

Multi-session programs are designed to provide structured and consistent support. Program duration, payment schedules, session usage, expiry, transferability, cancellation and refund conditions will be explained before enrolment.

Unless Mission Control agrees otherwise in writing, program sessions may only be used by the person who purchased or enrolled in the program.

If services are discontinued before a prepaid program is completed, any applicable refund will be calculated according to:

  • The signed service agreement;
  • The number and type of sessions already used;
  • Any services, resources or documentation already provided;
  • Applicable administrative costs;
  • Applicable laws; and
  • CRPO professional obligations.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, remedy or other right that must be provided under applicable law or professional standards.
